Social Advocacy Coalition (formerly known as #Students_Against_COVID) is a grassroots movement with members from diverse backgrounds pursuing common goals. These goals consist of, but are not limited to, championing science, supporting essential workers, facilitating innovation and collaboration, fostering inclusivity, and promoting social accountability. Currently, it serves as a facilitation network, professional development platform, and has hosted 50+ initiatives! It’s long term goal is also to enable others’ worldwide to be in better positions to be leaders of positive change in their community. We value students and allies’ voices, and we want to enable a culture that empowers their ability to make an impact across the globe long after this pandemic. We are currently working on a name change as well to further reflect our mission and vision.

Our volunteers come from 110+ countries, and over 2100+ volunteers have come thru. We have also had over a dozen volunteers do this as an internship.
